Another newbie

Hello from another Newbie! My name is Penny and I live in Mullion on the beautiful Lizard peninsula in Cornwall. I am also a member of the QGBI and CQ and I love working with all kinds of textiles. At the moment I am concentrating on quilting and embroidery and I am hoping that I will be able to rise to the challenge of belonging to this group.

    I get worried when people say rising to the challenge of belonging to. Just go for it. Enjoy and play and out of that will come some pieces you love, others you feel are OK and others that seem miles from what you envisaged at the start, but with our small size of 12 x 12 inches time and materials are not wasted, they are our practice for the amazing piece we all hope to produce some day.
