On this blog the members of Sky-is-the-Limit group show the results of the challenge quilts they make. We started with each quarter a new theme, but have changed this to a monthly theme. Knowing that life can interfere with good intentions it is not compulsary to make a quilt each month, but at least 4 quilts per year should be doable. Every quilt measures 12"x12".

No Tank for Me by Margaret Pratt
Margaret Pratt
My piece is mainly painted and then quilted.
He/she is great, love the colours. Interesting you did him facing to the RHS, do you tend to do that? I usually have my living images facing to the LHS but forgot with my fish that when cutting out the bits I had to reverse the shapes.
Interesting observation, Irene. We do read left to right so I suppose we read images left to right & perhaps you did this subconsciously in your fish piece. The thinking, perhaps, is that it goes out of the picture when left to right. A viewer from the Far East would read it right to left, so you take your choice!
