July theme

I had planned to make a quilt with the June theme, but I am on vacation right now and just did not have the time to do it. That is also the reason that I am late with posting the new theme. However I never go away without my usb stick, so I had access to the list of themes. After several runs with the random number generator, this is the theme which was chosen for July: Street scene. Good luck to you all for interpretating this theme into a quilt.

    I am working on my June theme of Childs Play. I hope to have it ready soon for posting. Family things got in the way plus the garden as we had unusually good weather here in Northern Ireland.

    I hope everyone won't mind me promoting a discussion-has the group become fragmented by the need to produce one quilt every month?I know that we are only required to contribute 4quilts per year,but in doing so we rarely have a chance to compare other members "take"on a subject with our own.

    I think that it is fine as it is. As is stated above, you do not have to do every Challenge and this gives room for choosing something which interests you. I think that enough members do each one to give a reasonable idea as to how members interpret the theme. I would be loathe to have to do each Challenge.
